Die
Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik entdeckte
Josh 1992 beim ersten Besuchen in
der legendären Basis Leipzig.
Er fand schnell Gefallen an der Clubatmosphäre
und lernte viele Gleichgesinnte kennen.
Damals noch als Technokonsument packte
ihn dann irgendwann die Lust selbst
an den Tellern zu stehen und seine
Erfahrungen mit dem schwarzen Gold
zu machen. Im X-Plode Recordshop in
Leipzig fing er dann an Platten zu
kaufen und bekam dadurch noch mehr
Kontakt zur Technoszene. Es folgten
dann nach einigen Jahren der Selbst-versuchung
eigene Auftritte in diversen Location
Leipzigs und Umgebung (Basis, Opera,
Villa...).
2001 zog Josh nach Schwerin.Hier fand
er gute Freunde die ihn bis heute
auf seinen Weg begleiten und unterstützen.
Am 25.8.2003 entstand das Projekt
Underground Basement aus einer eher
spontanen Geburtstagsparty. Es folgten
Partys im Café Amsterdam, Gerberei
Garten / Beatclub, Buschclub, Komplex
und andere Locations.
Als einer einer der Gründer von
Underground Basement geht er heute
seinen musikalischen Weg und bleibt
sich und vor allem der elektronischen
Musik treu. In Sachen Producing blieb
Josh natürlich auch nicht untätig.
Erste Releases erschienen 2007 auf
dem Netlabel Lorbeerkranz. Musikalisch
versucht er sich vor allem an Minimal,
Techhouse, Techno und arbeitet immer
an neuen Kreationen seiner Songs.
Seit November 2008 ist er eine feste
Größe bei Damm Records.
Josh discovered his love for electronic
music in 1992 on his first visits
in the legendary Basis Leipzig.
He soonly enjoyed the club atmosphere
and got to know many like-minded
people. At that time as a technoconsument
he someday felt like making his
own experiences with the so-called
black gold and so he started to
play records. In the X-Plode record
shop in Leipzig he started to buy
records and soon established more
and more contacts to the techno
scene. After a few years of self-experimenting
followed some gigs in diverse locations
in Leipzig and its environment (like
Basis, Opera, Villa etc.).
In 2001 Josh moved to Schwerin where
he found good friends who accompany
and support him up to know. On August
the 25th in 2003, the project Underground
Basement was generated from a rather
spontaneous birthday party. This
was followed by a series of parties
in Café Amsterdam, Gerberei
Garten / Beatclub, Bushclub, Komplex
and other locations. As one of the
founders of Underground Basement
he accomplishes his musical way
and remains true to himself and
the electronic music. Concerning
the productions, Josh certainly
wasn’t passive. First releases
were published in 2007 on the Netlabel
Lorbeerkranz. Concerning musical
style, he especially experiences
with Minimal, Techhouse and Techno
and forges new creations of his
songs. Since November in 2008 he
can be called firmly established
at Damm Records.
